    Grit bins and Salt drop placement

    Discussion took place and residents suggested new locations for Salt drops maps were used and residents marked locations. Residents identified a number of places in residential areas that saltdrops would be useful, particularly in Clifton East area. This information will be given to Jim Creamer- Highways maintenance manager.

    It was promoted that residents are encouraged to clear pathways and apply salt supporting elderly neighbours. Lorna to ensure BCC Snow / Ice Guidance to be circulated to local groups for distribution in group news letters etc.

    • Alternative side for parking during rush hour = no waiting
    • More bus companies to provide competition and lower bus fare costs
    • Busses will still stop t crossing point / road – still cause congestion
    • Introduction of Oyster style card to speed up stop / pick up times.

    • Park & Ride for North Bristol?
    • Does Government money have to be spent on this scheme?
    • People come to Whiteladies Road for destination shops – impact.

  • Density of Premises? Why are there 55 licensed premises within Clifton Village?
  • Noise, litter and damage as a result of drinking particularly after weekends.
